About Azoth Central
New World shuts down on 2027-01-31. Azoth is a fan project that keeps it playable afterwards: the original game client talking to a server that is 100% ours. For that server to behave like the official one, we need to know what the official one sends.
The game talks to the server in small messages called packets. There are 2,243 kinds. Azoth Central lists all of them and shows which ones we already understand and which ones we still need.
How to help
Open the Needed page, pick a packet, and press How to capture. Follow the steps in the game while the recorder runs, then send the recording on Discord with the /capture command.
What the labels mean
- Solved. We know its format and the Azoth server already uses it.
- Captured. We already have it in a recording. No need to record it again.
- Wanted. We don't have it in a recording yet. You can help by capturing it.
- Top priority. A Wanted packet the Azoth server needs first.
Some packets are not described yet. Each guide says how sure we are about what a packet does, so you will see labels like “Our best guess” or “We don’t know what this does yet”.
What this is not
No cheats, no exploits, no tools to harm the game while it still runs. Credentials are removed from recordings before they are accepted.
Azoth is an unofficial fan project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Amazon Games.
